Processing that responds to your track

Track analysis informs EQ, compression and limiting. Listen to the automatic master as a starting point.

Technical detailsWAVEROOM DSP · v828
Analysis: loudness, peaks and balance
Integrated LUFS describes programme loudness; RMS describes average signal level. Peak, True Peak, Crest Factor, Dynamic Range and band balance help guide processing. Measurements are useful checks, not a score for sound quality.
Processing: tone → dynamics → peaks
EQ shapes frequency balance, compression adjusts dynamics and density, and limiting controls output peaks. Track analysis and the selected preset guide the processing strength; some stages may be reduced or bypassed.
Adaptive EQ: a balance guided by your track
Analysis of bass energy, low-mid density, vocal-range mids and upper-frequency energy guides the EQ corrections. Instead of applying one fixed curve to every track, the adjustments respond to the source balance and preset. Compare with the original before deciding on the final tone.
Resonance control: managing sustained band energy
Where analysis detects excessive or sustained energy, the processing can ease the affected bands. Low-band control is designed to distinguish short kick onsets from sustained bass, with processing strengths coordinated to avoid stacking corrections.
Saturation: subtle harmonics and texture
Where the processing route and preset allow, a small amount of nonlinear colour is blended in to add harmonics and tonal density. Warm / Analog can use this texture; already-compressed or harsh sources may receive less additional colour or none.
Presets and adaptive Loud
Natural favours natural balance, Warm / Analog a warmer texture, and Loud forward energy and level. Loud adapts its processing strength to loudness, dynamics and bass content. Compare with the original and refine with EASY or DETAIL.
EASY and DETAIL: two views of the same adjustments
The simplified EASY controls and the detailed DETAIL controls are linked. Refine tone and dynamics from the automatic result, then switch between the original and the result to check your choices.
Reference EQ: a guide for tonal direction
Add a reference and choose Light, Balanced or Strong. Use the reference’s frequency balance to guide the tone of your track.

From music professionals

I like the approach of analyzing a track’s character first instead of applying the same settings to every song. Each piece of music needs a different finishing touch.

Lee Seung-jooComposer of the Guardian: The Lonely and Great God

Once a track is finished, you want to put the final touches on its sound. I like being able to start mastering without complicated preparation, listen alongside the original, and choose the result I want.

Lee Myoung GunProfessor, Department of Applied Music, Seoul Institute of the Arts

I like being able to get straight to work without installing new software. Finishing your music doesn’t need to be complicated.

EASY and DETAIL are linked. Beyond the new-account free automatic master and WAV, saving an adjusted result may require an eligible pass or a monthly or annual subscription.

Which files and track lengths can I use?

WAV, MP3, FLAC and AIFF are supported up to 200 MB. There is no separate fixed track-length limit; choose a file size that your browser and device can handle comfortably.

How should I use LUFS and True Peak?

LUFS helps assess loudness; True Peak estimates reconstructed peaks. One target is not required for every track. Check the measurements and listen.
